The camp is designed for serious art students who are interested in combining an intensive art experience with learning Spanish and visiting Costa Rica. Included in this program are: All adventure tours and activities, river rafting on class 2 & 3 rapids, zip lining tour, two day/one night visit to Arenal volcano and hot springs, 10 half day art lessons, lodging, three meals per day, three h ours per day of Spanish instruction, all art materials, all in-country transportation, health insurance and bilingual guides.
Accommodations
Hotel Tropicana is one of Tamarindo’s most popular hotels and very conveniently located at the beginning of town and right across the street from the beach. This is the main facility for our camp in town and students will spend much of their time relaxing by their large and well maintained pool. Each room as two beds, private bath, air-conditioning and a balcony. This modern hotel has a great deal of experience dealing with groups and is well equipped to handle the needs of our group. Each room is semi-private and many have views of the ocean, just 50 yards away. Buffet breakfast will be served every morning in their full service restaurant as well as one other meal each day. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will be able to answer any and all student questions. One entire wing of the hotel will be set aside for our group and students will feel comfortable and safe in this large compound.

Transfer Info
Round trip airport transfer is included in the cost. Arrival city is Liberia, ther northern provincial capital. Students will be met at the airport by the camp directors and counselors. They will be transported to the hotel in private air-conditioned motor coachesand given time to settle in and relax. The two trips in Costa Rica are about 4 hours each in length with a stop in the middle for lunch.
Once all the students have arrived, they will gather for the Welcome Dinner. Here students will get to know one another and the staff. Rooms and roomma tes will be assigned at this time. The next day, the Spanish and adventure activities begin!
