The School
The Centre is located in the Champagne region of France, 110 km from Paris. Its 5 hectare grounds are situated on the banks of the Marne river. Champagne offers many attractions of interest tourists, such as Reims, Epernay, Troyes, Château-Thierry, and other famous sites. The diversity of its charming villages nestled among the vineyards never fails to win the admiration of those visiting.
The school's ideal location allows students to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the country side. Children are offered a wide range of sporting activities which take place daily at Troissy or Dormans, by specialised instructors.
Classrooms are large and practical. Dining rooms are sunny and offer a personal touch.
Foreign students are assigned to a " French for foreigners " course, after taking a test of French proficiency. Students can also improve their French by using regulary specific CD-ROM in the language lab. (For French or French-speaking students, classes are provided from 2nd to 6th grade, and basic subjects are taught (French and math are obligatory , English or German are optional).
Courses are given each morning from 09:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. The number of students per class is kept to a minimum (8 to 12), and children are thus provided with ideal learning conditions.Teachers participate actively and can very closely monitor the work of individual students, provide them with special assistance, and help them with study methods and organisation. A detailed scholastic report is sent to the family at the end of the session, and a certificate indicating the level of French proficiency is also provided for foreign students.
Outstanding security at the school includes 16 video cameras registered on computer; Xray lasers at the windows.
