The School
Lignano is an important holiday resort located on the Adriatic sea, close to Venice. It is renowned for its beaches, and thus is also called Lignano Subbiadaro, which literally translated means Lignano “golden sand”. It’s about an hour from both Venice and Trieste.
The school is situated in Villaggio Adriatico. Tucked in a pinewood forest that stretches to the sea shore, the junior center features a beach and many sport facilities. A lot of activity is packed into the summer programs. Four lessons per day, each of 45 minutes duration, provide lively and enjoyable language learning activities with emphasis on oral language skills. Classes are small and informal with no more than 12 in a group.
In addition to morning classes in Italian, there are afternoon and evening programs of sports and leisure activities tailored to the interests of special age groups. During the activities, students will mingle with Italian youngsters of the same age residing in the village.

Notes
Cost includes tuition, teaching materials, full-board accommodation, weekly laundry service, sports and cultural activities.
Doctors and nurses reside in the center and guarantee assistance 24 hours a day.
